Ισχυρή έκρηξη βόμβας σημειώθηκε σε μίνι λεωφορείο το βράδυ της Πέμπτης (6/8) στο προάστιο Τζαραμάνα της Δαμασκού με αποτέλεσμα να βρουν τραγικό θάνατο 2 άτομα και άλλα 13 να τραυματιστούν.
Η κρατική τηλεόραση ανέφερε ότι ο εκρηκτικός μηχανισμός είχε τοποθετηθεί σε λεωφορείο των δημόσιων συγκοινωνιών και εξερράγη ενώ το όχημα βρισκόταν κοντά στην πρωτεύουσα.
